Farren Welcomes Survey on ‘Spectacular’ Antrim Coast Road

SDLP North Antrim MLA Sean Farren has welcomed the results of a survey which names the Antrim Coast Road as having the fifth most spectacular views anywhere in the world. Speaking today Mr Farren stated:

“For those who live in the area or have travelled along the coast road the results of this survey will come as little surprise. It has some of the most spectacular scenery anywhere in the world. The unspoilt beauty and famous landmarks along the route should make it one of our most important tourist attractions.

The results of the survey are also very significant in light of the Causeway Coast Masterplan and the development of the area in general. An integrated and well planned strategy can give the area the boost it needs to confirm its place as an international tourist destination. It has always had the people and the natural beauty. Further recognition can only help the coast’s development.”
